Cardiac Surgery

The Cardiac Surgery Department of Shiraz Central Hospital is located on the first floor of Building No. 1. This department commenced its activities in 1380 by performing open-heart surgeries, subsequently engaging in valve replacements and repairs of congenital heart defects. Under the supervision of the finest physicians in Shiraz, this department has operated on 8080 patients requiring cardiac surgeries to date.

The department comprises nine triple-folding beds equipped with monitors and wall suction devices. A full-time nurse is assigned to each patient, offering excellent medical care with patience and compassion.

There are two refrigerators—one for medication storage with a thermometer to maintain proper temperatures and another for patient use.
