Shiraz Central Hospital (MRI Hospital)
In 1993, on a 5000 square meter piece of land, with the dedication of Dr. Mohammad Rasa Khoshnood, Shiraz Central Hospital, also known as MRI Hospital, was founded. The aim was to provide healthcare services to patients and address diagnostic and therapeutic deficiencies in Fars Province. Construction commenced, and the hospital was officially inaugurated on February 11, 1998, in the presence of provincial authorities.
Our efforts are directed towards providing healthcare services using the most advanced and accessible methods worldwide while providing suitable facilities and a conducive environment for patients. In pursuit of these objectives and through the unwavering efforts of our dedicated team, we successfully obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management. Additionally, by continually striving for quality improvement at all levels, we acquired ISO 9001 and ISO 18001 certifications, representing an Integrated Management System (IMS). Due to our commitment to patients and clients and implementing a 100% Respect for Patients' Rights initiative, we are now on the verge of obtaining ISO 1001-2 certification. We are in the process of signing a contract to attain higher levels and ISO standards such as T.Q.M (Total Quality Management) 10015, 10014 for standardizing financial resources and achieving comprehensive quality education and management.
A great place for medical and healthcare services
To achieve the hospital's objectives, maintain and enhance the community's health level, gain national credibility, and increase the satisfaction of patients and physicians, Shiraz Central Hospital has established 12 active operating rooms. These operating rooms are divided into two distinct sections: 4 rooms for general surgeries, 3 rooms for cardiac surgeries, and 3 rooms dedicated to ophthalmic surgeries. It's worth mentioning that a dedicated operating room for obstetrics and gynecological surgeries is situated within the OB section, and an emergency surgery room is established within the emergency department for complex specialized surgeries and emergency procedures. State-of-the-art and unique equipment have been employed to enhance the hospital's services.
