The radiology department of Shiraz Central Hospital is located on the ground floor of the hospital and is equipped to address various medical imaging needs of patients. The department adheres strictly to radiation protection standards and operates with experienced radiologists and professionals every day, including weekends, to serve both inpatients and outpatients.

Radiology Services Provided:
The department conducts various simple and specialized radiological procedures without prior appointments. For procedures requiring dietary preparation before imaging, appointments are scheduled accordingly. The department provides daily reports for these procedures.

The radiology unit is equipped with a portable digital radiology device (FUJI) that allows digital imaging of patients in wards and ICUs, enabling immediate viewing of images at the patient's bedside.

Services are available 24/7.

MRI Services:
Routine and specialized MRI services are available, with or without contrast media, covering various body parts.

CT Scan Services:
Routine and specialized CT scans, with or without contrast, are available for different body parts, offering high-quality 3D simulation upon specialist request.

Ultrasound Services:
Routine and specialized ultrasound services, including transvaginal, transrectal, fetal, biophysical, Doppler, 3D, and 4D scans, are offered. Immediate report delivery follows the ultrasound procedure, available 24/7.

Bone Densitometry Services:
Whole-body mineral density measurement services are provided, including 3D imaging of bone tissue upon specialist request.

Mammography Services:
Both unilateral and bilateral mammography, including magnified view, and all regular and specialized mammography-related services are available.

Fluoroscopy Services:
Fluoroscopy procedures cover imaging of various body parts and organs, including the gastrointestinal system, liver, and pancreas, using contrast medium.

Radiography Services:
The department offers digital radiography services as required by physicians, both regular and specialized, in digital format.

ERCP Services:
The hospital, as the only private center in the southern region, offers ERCP services daily, handled by experienced gastroenterologists and assistants.

CT Angiography Services:
CT angiography services for coronary arteries, chest, abdomen, upper and lower limbs are provided, including 3D and high-quality reconstruction.

Before contrast injection, all patient documents including the physician's request and necessary tests and ultrasounds are checked. The contrast injection is done under the direct supervision of a radiologist, with the presence of a radiology technician and unit nurse.

The center employs several specialist physicians in radiology and gastroenterology for service delivery.
